I've always been partial to that Tom/Annette hug near the end of Reckoning, when they're comforting each other over their loss. Hell, I even have an icon of it.

That's an amazing moment. It's just stunning in its emotion.

It really is. And it resonates with me so much more now. Back then I didn't know what it was like to lose a parent, to have that kind of grief in your life. Now, unfortunately, I do, and it makes it difficult for me to rewatch the episode.

When my dad died in April, I watched Reckoning and Vengeance over and over. I cried more than I thought was possible, but it actually helped me deal with everything. You're right, you just don't know what it means until you've been through it yourself.

When everyone complains about the show, I think of moments like that- Martha holding Clark before the funeral, for instance. Even in episodes I don't like, there's always a little something in there that reminds me of why I watch and always will.

I agree. Even in the few episodes that make my head explode, there's always something I love. And some episodes have moments I could watch a hundred times and still want to see again. Like Clark's carefree joy as he plays basketball in Leech. Or the sweet way he bonds with Maddie in Fragile. Or the look on his face as he watches the people on the street gaze up in wonder at Oliver (pretending to be him) in Identity.

I just love this show! :)

Me too! I love that iconic moment in Justice when Clark leads the team out of the compound so much (points to icon). And this year, I loved when he and Lois went engagement ring shopping in Committed. I pretty much love any scene with Tom and Erica, their chemistry is so magical.

Oh, that moment in Justice was awesome! Slo-mo, and each shot going in tighter on Clark's face? *swoons* I even bought the action figures after that! LOL!

The engagement ring scene was too funny. I thought I was going to die when Oliver came in. *giggles* I've watched that part of Committed over and over. I'm loving all the Clark and Lois scenes, too. The one in Bloodline where Clark asks Lois why she got a raise, and she says, "Because I'm me. Hell-o!" still makes me laugh out loud every time, and I swear I've seen it at least 20 times. :) And Bride? So much love for Clark and Lois. Funny, tender, and heartbreaking, all in the same episode.

Any scene lately with Tom and Erica has been great. You can tell how much affection and attraction there is between them, even as they hide it with all of the snark and teasing. I just hope that they get to the point of starting a real relationship before the series ends. I'd like to see at least one REAL kiss. (And hot bedroom stuff, too, but I don't want to push my luck!)
