I love how Allison had played Chloe's desperation so perfectly.

I agree, and I think all the actors were great in this episode. It really showed the potential for excellence this show has!

I had to give credit to him for playing a part in getting Clark to appreciate his own existence

Me, too! I know some people hate Jor-El, but sometimes the guy has a point! LOL!

Again, I love how Clark refused to let himself to be guilted and manipulated here.

This is one of the things I love best about this season. We've actually seen Clark take real steps towards Superman in his strength of purpose, and his unwillingness to be manipulated anymore. It goes hand-in-hand with accepting himself for the unique individual he is, and I'm so happy to see it happen!

Clark can just let go for a while and know that it's all right.

Exactly. Lois can give him a respite that maybe no one else can.

I still can't get over that bit where he snatched the letter away from Jimmy lol. I cracked up so much at that.

I have watched the episode a bunch of times now, and I still laugh every time at that part. But beyond being funny, I also think he's sexy. He totally owns that moment, and I love how he takes charge! :)

Thanks so much for reading, and for your wonderful comments! I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you!
