Smallville: Future guest star talks to Zap2it
The fabulous Carina MacKenzie and Jethro Nededog from Zap2it recently sat down to ply upcoming Smallville guest star Alan Ritchson with alcohol in order to get us the best possible scoop on Aquaman's return in 10x09 - Patriot, the episode Tom Welling is directing this season. Here's what he had to say about Tom:

He's a phenomenal director and I really enjoyed working with him... It's funny because he's been on that show so long, that he knows it better than anybody else.

Alan also tells a funny BTS story that you have to hear for yourself (he's a very entertaining guy). Check out this video for the full dish, and read more at Zap2it HERE.

In other news, Alaina Huffmann talked to Celebrity Baby Scoop about juggling a busy acting career with being a mom to three small children. She confirms that she will be returning to Smallville as Black Canary in 10x11 - Icarus. The article includes some wonderful pics of her beautiful family. Read it at Celebrity Baby Scoop HERE.

Thanks for the interviews.

Alaina's family is just so beautiful and perfect it makes me smile so much. I adore them.

Alaina seems like the most wonderful, serene mother on the face of the Earth. Nothing fazes her, and it's obvious she is completely connected to each of her children in a profound way. I love her and her beautiful family to pieces.

I so want to see Black Canary and Green Arrow connect in some way before Smallville is over, to give us just a tiny nod to the complicated, passionate relationship they are destined to have. I can be such a purist! :)

Alan seems to be a fun guy. And our Tommy is one mischievous man. Love it!

Thanks for posting.

I love how Tom always plays dumb whenever a journalist asks him about his rep for antics on set, emphasizing that they're too busy working to make mischief, but then we get stories like this one. And more assurances, from both Alan (here) and Elena (on Twitter), that he is one of the best directors out there. I hope Clark has a significant role to play in Patriot, but either way, I'm looking forward to another Tommy-directed episode.
