I'm looking forward to this one, too. We've had a campy Halloween episode, now we get to have a scary one! With Al & Turi writing and Turi directing, it should be good. And the whole issue of Clark potentially being overprotective is a big one in his relationship with Lois; after all, that's what kept him from telling her his secret for so long.

I think Tom is in the best shape of his life right now. I can't wait to see the results of all that kick-boxing we heard about on Twitter! ;)

I love the way Lois watches Clark in the clip. She's just so delighted to see her Man of Steel in action!

I totally agree. I think it's a pretty interesting conflict between them because I can understand both perspectives. This is such a huge issue with the Clark/Lois myhtos relationship and I'm so glad that Smallville is going to address it in their own way and in a way that is totally relevant with the way the characters have been portrayed together on the show.

On the one hand, obviously Clark shouldn't have lied to her to get her off the story. He can't deceive the person he loves in the name of protecting her. If he has a concern about her safety, he needs to find a more honest way to get through to her that is fostered in respect and not dishonesty.

That being said, I think Lois has an important lesson to learn too. Lois is going to be Lois. I think Lois' bravery and boldness is part of the reason why Clark loves her so much. I don't think he would want her to change. BUT---Lois does need to learn that now that they are together---her safety affects them BOTH. When you are in a serious relationship like that...you do have accountability to the other person. If she's reckless with her life that doesn't just affect her anymore-it affects Clark too. His feelings and fears and concerns should be respected. They just have to find a way to meet in the middle and talk about this stuff with honesty.

I'm just excited to see them working together throughout the course of an episode again. It's been a long time since we've gotten that on the show. They work well as a team and it's often through that interaction that we get to see why they are so perfect for each other. So I'm really looking forward to it.

I admit I'm a scaredy cat and I get scared pretty easily. So hopefully I'll be able to survive the creepiness!
