Smallville spoiler from Ausiello
Michael Ausiello shared some Smallville scoop in this week's Ask Ausiello.

Question: Any new Smallville scoop? —Adelle
Ausiello:
Present-day Clark comes face-to-face with future Clark (a.k.a. Superman) in next Friday’s 200th episode. But I’m pretty sure that’s old news. Here’s some new news. In the Oct. 22 episode, Clark finally decides to tell Lois his secret. Which is kind of funny because that’s the same episode she decides to tell him her secret: that she already knows! Hilarious, right? I thought it was.

SOURCE

The October 22nd episode is 10x05 - Isis. I'm glad they're not dragging it out any longer, and it makes sense that Clark would come to that decision after the events of Homecoming. I just hope it actually finally happens (am I being incredibly naive?), and that Clark tells Lois before she tells him.

Prayer circle. ;)

In seasons past I would know without a doubt that they were going to stall, but I'm hoping they don't now. I'm not seeing Clark's reasons for not telling Lois any more than I did last season. I do think the whole she-knows-but-he-doesn't-know-she-knows angle can be funny (it was in Lazarus), but once you push it too far, it's just obnoxious.

I agree completely with your whole comment.

That's true, if we know for sure he wanted to tell her, that's good enough for me. But I'd like it a lot better if he told her first, and without having his hand forced by any circumstance. That would make it unique, something he's never done for any other woman, as it should be.

I am already so, so bored with this plot device. They should've had it out in the open in the 200th.

I agree that Homecoming would be the perfect time to tell her, but I guess that episode is already packed with lots of other stuff. But if they delay it again, and drag it out beyond Isis, that's going to be as ridiculous as the whole sex thing became last season.

You know, its not like they couldn't have fit it into a packed episode. All you need is Clark saying "Lois, I'm The Blur..." with Lois saying "I know.." Have Clark look surprised, then smile, then kiss her....

So, what does that take? 4 minutes?

Then you can pick it up in the next episode, as the initial reveal is done, and now they can get deeper into it.

But, what do I know? I'm not a brilliant writer like Kelly & Brian/snerk

You're right, of course. But I'm sure they want to make it the BIG MOMENT. To me, it shouldn't be about fanfare, it should be about walls quietly crumbling away, and two people connecting with complete honesty for the first time. Not so much a giant moment as a powerful one.

I bet it won´t happen. Both decide that they want to tell but they will most likely be prevented from so doing, for example, by Lois mutating into Isis... Not that I would like that, but that´s how the SV writers work... :(

By the way, watch out in Isis: they spent quite some time shooting scenes only with Tom´s photo double in this episode. I can´t wait to analyze which scenes. :)
