SDCC: Erica Durance talks to GMMR
Give Me My Remote has finally posted their interview with Erica Durance at the Syfy party at SDCC. I love how Erica always brings the focus back to Clark when she talks about the show. ♥

I've also updated my previous GMMR entry to include this latest video, bringing the total to three (Cassidy, Justin, and Erica). Find the updated post HERE.

I think it's important that the writers take every opportunity to show us that what Clark feels for Lois is unique, that they make it clear that she is his one and only. After the way Lana left, some people have doubts, and that's just not right.

I want to see Clark tell Lois his secret, too, and just because he wants to share all of himself with her. I actually think he already did, when he took her into his arms and kissed her in Salvation, but I want to hear the words, too.

The episode showed us that Clark desperately wanted to tell Lois, but he saw that as a selfish wish, one that would only hurt her when he was torn from the planet with the Kandorians. I think that in that last moment, when he thought he was leaving her forever, his heart swept away his control, and he gave in to his deepest desire, not only to express his love for Lois, but to tell her in a way that would erase all the secrets between them.

I think that when they are reunited in S10, Clark will wait for Lois to speak first, and when she doesn't, he'll once again convince himself that discretion is the better part of valor, and will remain silent as well. But whatever scenario the writers come up with to establish that she knows, but he doesn't know she knows, they will never change my mind about what happened in Salvation. With that kiss, Clark told Lois everything, including the truth about himself.

I hope you don't mind if on comment on your discussion?

I have to say I've always wanted to see Clark tell Lois his secret and the kiss was a really beautiful way of doing that. It was a great reveal, but I'm unsure how the writers will play it out. I'm okay with Lois waiting to tell Clark that she knows, since it fits with her conversation with Chloe in Season 4. But, she says she wouldn't tell him, but she would go out of her way to support him until he felt he could tell her. If that's how it plays out I would still get my scene of Clark telling her his secret. I know normally in Lois fashion she would probably blurt it out eventually, like the interviews have mentioned, but maybe in the end we'll see Clark do the blurting. :)

She always does bring it back to Clark. She's really cool like that.
