Wow. Thank you for posting these! What great pictures. Tom looks amazing. His hair has really gotten long, hasn't it? It looks so wavy and soft. I like it.

And seriously....he looks like Superman. The most handsome Superman ever.

I'm going to give this show a try. I had several friends in college who were cheerleaders at our huge school and I know they worked their butts off. Those women are in amazing shape. If nothing else, I'm sure I'll enjoy the dance routines.

I will say that I sort of laugh every time they call her a law student and even their clarification about it later in the article (about her being a junior "pre-law" student) was kind of funny. Just as a lawyer myself....you're not a law student until you actually take the LSAT, apply to law school and get accepted. Before that, you are just an undergraduate and trying to compare the pressure and commitment is night and day. Yes, many schools have "pre-law" advising programs but that's really all they are. Just programs that help students prepare to take the LSAT's, register with LSAC for the application process and attend law school. You can have virtually any major and go to law school. Most law students are English, Poli Sci, Bus., History or Criminal Justice majors but there were students of virtually any background at my school. The only real requirements for getting into a really good school are a great GPA and a great LSAT score...and in some cases...political/community connections since it's become so competitive at the really great schools. But there is no such thing as a "pre-law" major. Not really. If they wanted to be somewhat accurate they would stop calling her a law student and put the emphasis on the idea that she has to have a great GPA if she wants to attend law school. Anyway, this is just a neurotic pet peeve. I imagine it's how Doctors feel when they see Undergraduate students going on and on about being "pre-med" when in reality they are Biology majors who have not even taken their MCAT's yet.

It's one of those little things that won't bother anyone else watching the show. I'm just being picky.

Thank you for the great pics!

I liked Tom with the short cut he had in S7 that gave him that classic Supes look, but I love, love, love the longer hair he has now. And yes, in that pic from LIFE in particular, he IS Superman!

I think most professions are misrepresented in some way on TV, and the errors that end up onscreen, either because the writers are ignorant, or because they're taking dramatic license, are always going to stick out like sore thumbs to those who know better. I have a friend who is a physicist, and the "science" on Fringe drives him mad. :) And it bothers some people more than others, much like the way Smallville deviates from comics canon is not a problem for some people, and a dealbreaker for others. I've seen similar complaints from cheerleaders, saying Hellcats is getting that part all wrong, too.

I had a whole group of friends in college who went on to law school, and they all majored in rhetoric as undergrads. But they loved to describe themselves as pre-law, it sounded way cooler. ;)
