I had never seen AJ in anything before Smallville, but I fell in love with him instantly. I like Emil's dry wit, and his utter unflappability in the face of all the bizarre things he sees in his job. He makes me laugh. :) Most of all I enjoy the dynamic between him and Clark. I hope we see a lot of him in S10.

I gather Hellcats tidbits here and there, and then when I have enough for an entry, I post. :) There's a rumor going around today that Aaron Douglas, from Obscura and Traveler on Smallville, has been cast as Bill. If it's true, Hellcats snatched him up just hours after his current show was cancelled by CBS. I wonder if Tom put in a good word?

OMG, I hope that pans out! I absolutely love Aaron Douglas too. Another awesome actor from Battlestar Galactica like AJ. The show also shot in Vancouver, so there was a lot of crossover guest appearances on SV from that cast. Got to meet Aaron Douglas at WonderCon this year. What a great guy. Very friendly, he really talked to us a while about both BG and his appearances on SV. He was fun and joked around with my son and his friends. I'm sure his experiences on SV would help him out with Tom and Hellcats.

Sorry I'm so late replying to everything, this past week was crazy at work. Today I've been responding to comments, one by one, in between obsessively reading Twitter for SDCC updates and watching streaming videos of the various panels. As you might imagine, I haven't made a tremendous amount of progress. :)

Of course now we know that AD is indeed confirmed for Hellcats. Yay! I've been reading up on him, and he is universally loved by fans, especially for his Con appearances. How cool that you got to meet him, and had such a positive experience! He seems genuinely excited to be a part of Tom's new show, and I think we're lucky to have him.
