I think its great that JH co-wrote this one but I'm still thunder struck that when you have a show about a guy...Clark Kent...who is really close to becoming the legendary Supes you decide to promote the Green Arrow/Chloe/Tess? Why would that make folks get excited for the final episodes? I don't have to tell you *smiles* but look at Tom Welling!!!! Just plaster his face around with the Supes symbol and that should be enough...no offense JH.

As for the focus of this episode....I am trying to be positive but when I read that now it comes down to Clark finding this Book of Rao to stop the Kandorians...like you I don't like where this is going.

Question...if Jor-El hid the Rao book at the Kent Farm many years before and retrieved it as his replicant copy....why doesn't Clark just go and talk to the AI Jor-El? *shrugs*

from MJ :)

My joking reaction when I saw the Sacrifice stills was to say:

"Who is that attractive man with the black hair? You know if he applied himself he could have his own TV show one day."

Oh wait a minute....

Hi Tariel. :) Thanks for letting me chat.

I don't get it either. What's worse, unless everybody was lying about not knowing, evidently they planned this episode when S9 could have been the last. They would have squandered one of their final episodes EVER on a story that doesn't focus on Clark? Bryan Q. Miller did, however, say this on Twitter:

Q: You're often behind great CK episodes, but CK barely seems involved in Sacrifice. Any hope for this CK fan?

A: The O.D. was refreshingly Clark spoiler-free. Yes, he's in there. Doin' stuff. Lots of players on the board. Also doin' stuff.

Question...if Jor-El hid the Rao book at the Kent Farm many years before and retrieved it as his replicant copy....why doesn't Clark just go and talk to the AI Jor-El?

Wait, are you suggesting the writers should use logic and follow continuity? Have you forgotten what show we're talking about? ;)

From MJ

Honestly, I think it's just that Tom Welling is so unattractive that the CW or the Producers just feel as though they can't possibly market him as the leading man of this show. He's just not leading man material. That must be it. I mean...just look at him. That guy could never carry a show for 9 years and keep people interested. ::rolls eyes:::
