Great review. I whole heartedly agree with all your points. I have to admit that I did not realize that Clark wasn't Clark until the reveal at the end. I did think he was acting a little off but was so caught up the the Grant/Julian that I didn't give it much thought.

Speaking of Grant/Julian, I had shared your concern for this storyline and what it was doing to the great plot points in "Memoria" and such. But, I must say they pulled this one out of the fire. Nice job writers. Guess I should have more faith.

Nice point about Lana being duped. Of course, I have a theory about her this season as well. I do not think she is who we think she is. But I could be wrong. I usually am.

Also, it was a beautiful episode. Loved all the snowy seasons and Daily Planet decorations.

Chloe did look beautiful. So totally want her blouse. Plus, Alison Mack knocked it out of the park again. She can deliver the corniest line in the most uncorny way. Love her!

BTW - I think the found somewhere that the song was "Canceling Christmas This Year" by Michelle Featherstone but I haven't been able to confirm that.

I've read about people who were screaming at their television screens because they thought they were seeing the return of the Clana, and the next second they were cheering when he was revealed to be Bizarro. Then I've read about Clana fans that were over the moon at the kiss, and furious at the reveal! LOL!

I adore Allison Mack. There's a nice interview with her and Kristin Kreuk here:

I really liked the decorations too, both at the Planet and at the farm, and all the Christmas music. That song really sounds like it could be Michelle Featherstone! Thanks for that! I can't find any reference to any Christmas song by her on her MySpace or iTunes, so it must be new. They do that a lot on Smallville, use a song before it's been released.
