Christian Kane talks to iF Magazine

There's a great interview with Christian Kane at IFMagazine.com, where he talks about his new EP (which is AWESOME), Leverage, and the upcoming Con-Con. My favorite quote:

iF: Do you enjoy dividing your time between acting and performing with your band?

They’re two different monsters really. With acting, I’m a paid liar, with music, I have to tell the truth. That was important about these songs I put out. I wanted people to see me. You’re not going to hear me singing a song about being married, or having kids or driving a tractor, but you will hear me singing drinking songs, loving songs. It’s a good old country album.

LOVE him! Read the entire interview HERE. Thanks to dawnybee for the heads up!

Is it next weekend yet?! I am beyond excited for his show at Dante's! I do have to say that I miss the orginal version of Let Me Go - the one that isn't on the EP.

Thanks for the link to the interview!

Don't you feel lucky that you got tickets? That is THE show to see! Have fun!

Kane fans have had to depend on each other for songs for so long now. I wonder if anyone can claim to have a complete catalog. Everyone should come to the Con-Con with flash drives of their Kane music, so you can all trade. :)

I wasn't aware that the show had sold out. It is going to be so crowded, but I'm sure it will be an unforgetable night!

I lost all of what I had when my computer crashed last month- along with everything else on my hard drive - so I am in no place to claim I have the best collection. Lol :D

Well, now I don't know if it is. I saw someone say they went to TicketsWest and no more tickets were available, but I don't see confirmation of the show being sold out anywhere, so maybe they just hit a technical glitch.

I suspect your flist could help you replace the Kane songs you lost.
