Yes, absolutely. I like that already they show Clark struggling with what Jor-El is asking of him, and having a dialogue with his father. And while of course he isn't turning his back on humanity, he is redefining how he interacts with them. He's discovering his identity as a hero in their midst, which is so exciting to me!

I don't have a bone to pick with Emil, it's just important to me to make the point that Clark didn't turn on anyone, ever. Yes, he said Ollie wasn't one of them anymore, but Ollie forced that issue with his actions. He was the author of his own fate. And then he not only betrayed Clark, he convinced Dinah and Bart to join him. I still can't quite believe it! And I agree that Emil was making one of his subtle points with Chloe, just as he did in Injustice (although that wasn't the real Chloe at the time). Love him!
