Okay, you're totally embarrassing me, but I love it. *blushes*

It was interesting to me that everyone around Clark was making bad decisions, while his every move was perfect. Probably the last time we'll see that for a good long while. :( I also liked that when Lois opened up to Clark, he saved her, in the sense that he sent her to kill the story above all else. It said to me, if Chloe or Jimmy would come to him, he could help them, too.

Clark was absolutely hearts and unicorns and rainbows.

He was, and Tom rocked it so hard. I'm trying to come to terms with the darkness we've been promised for the coming season, but it's hard when I have episodes like this one that show me how joyful this show can be. I wish I could trust them to find a balance, but to me darkness just means heaping guilt and abuse on Clark. I hope I'm wrong.

It's hard for me to have even an ounce of sympathy for Chloe, even as AM's performance moves me. Besides, she's smarter than that, so it's not even believable to me.
