From the previews, I expected this episode to be total crap. So I was a tad bit surprised when I was proved wrong. I didn't love it, but it wasn't as bad as I imagined it was going to be.

She was humbled by the experience, and learned an important lesson about ethics and integrity, unanimously delivered by Jimmy, Clark, and Chloe.

I did enjoy that Lois not only got called out on her actions, but that she seemed to learn from them. One problem with Smallville is that people don't always learn from their mistakes, but it seems like Lois has and that's good. I wasn't so thrilled that Lois would need to learn this sort of lesson, not after her being a reporter for about 2 years.

I have to ask, how did she think this was all going to play out? Did she plan on keeping Davis in the basement forever? I guess the answer is that she wasn't thinking, she was following her heart, but in the end I still think Chloe should know better.

I think she wasn't thinking. She was faced with a choice and she made the choice she thought was right. But it's hard to know if there was a better choice, given that if she had rejected Davis, I imagine he would have gone after Clark, nothing to hold back the beast. Just not a good situation, and I kinda hate that Chloe has to be in this situation. Characters need to grow, I know, but it seems like this is just going to destroy Chloe and I hate that. *whines*

Anyways, I did enjoy the scene where Clark flashed his bare chest to Chloe. That was very nice. I always think that Smallville should have more shirtless scenes every episode. That would have been much better for me.

I agree, in that moment she had to stay. But now I want her to think better of it and tell Clark what's up. In any case, I think it's a no-win situation for Chloe, and I hate it when they do that.

I agree, it can make up for a lot. :) Especially if they include Clark!
