I loved this review almost as much as the episode itself - you have such a beautiful way of phrasing things. Caroline Dries really pulled one out of the hat this time. Sentimental me picks Lois's line, "I wouldn't say anything. I'd listen" as my favorite.

And then there's Clark. How completely awesome was he in this episode?

Totally and completely awesome! And boy did Tom bring the pretty, especially I thought in the DP scene near the end - I love that 6th picture. And of course number 9 - it doesn't take much to make us Tom fans happy.

ITA about Chloe and the dark days ahead. I just hope PS can deliver - I'm starting to have my doubts based on spoilery interviews. Why do they insight on woobifying the villains all the time? I found Bruno kinda refreshing in this regard, even if he was a world class creep.

Awww, you say the nicest things! *blushes* Thanks!

Sentimental me picks Lois's line, "I wouldn't say anything. I'd listen" as my favorite.

That was a great line, and I loved Clark's reaction to it, too. I remember being infuriated with how Caroline Dries wrote Clark in his scenes with Chloe in Sleeper, but I've enjoyed her episodes this season for the most part, and Clark was perfect in this one.

Tom looked so amazing in that golden light! I could have chosen all of my top ten from that scene. Or from the scene where they were listening to the police scanner. There were so many beautiful caps from that scene. How does the man just keep getting prettier? And that scene where he pulled up his shirt was nothing short of a gift. He may not do interviews, but he still loves us! :)

As for Chloe and Davis and now, evidently, the whole JL, too, I don't know what to think. :( I'm just going to wait and see, and hope it will play out in a way I never imagined.
