Thank you for all of these sweetie :)

I wonder what's the massive Clark-Lois moment. A break up? Clark will tell her he is the blur?

I believe something between Damon and Elena will happen in the finale! It was said it would make people angry and I've also heard that some fans will love it others will hate it. *jumbs up and down in excitement*

No problem! :)

Some people are predicting she learns his secret, that he flies with her in his arms, or even that they have sex! Like there isn't enough going on in this jam-packed finale already, with all the guest stars. I think it's a breakup. It makes the most sense, and it fits Michael Ausiello's asterisk clue.

The Vampire Diaries finale sounds very exciting! I'm really worried about who they're going to kill off. I could get angry about that! :)

You're welcome! I was so excited to see Supernatural featured this week. Dean! :)

Thank you for the scans! :)

Wow, is it just me or does Jensen Ackles suddenly look a whole lot younger in that photo? I think it's the lack of scruff that's doing the trick.

I'm super-concerned about who they're going to kill off on TVD. Did you see the latest spoiler? One older actor, one younger. Still can't narrow it down! D: I'm also wary about the love triangle, but I trust these writers to do it justice.
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 02:22 am (UTC) (Link)
It's always my pleasure!

I think it's the hair. It's combed like a little boy's. :)

One older, one younger? Okay, I don't keep track of TVD spoilers. Didn't you say before that the deaths were series regulars? I've never paid much attention to who is listed in the credits. What older actors are even considered regulars? And what counts as "older" anyway? 30? 35? 40? LOL!

I couldn't believe they killed Pearl last week! No one is safe! And what an amazing episode that was!
starry_dawn From: starry_dawn Date: May 5th, 2010 02:41 am (UTC) (Link)
One of the deaths is a series regular, I think. And from what I can remember, the regulars are Nina, Ian, Paul (all safe), Candice Accola (Caroline), Zach Roerig (Matt), Michael Trevino (Tyler), Katerina Graham (Bonnie), Steven McQueen (Jeremy) and Sara Canning (Jenna). The only "older" one of this group is Sara (and even that is contentious, because the actress is only 22/23), and as much as I wouldn't mind seeing Jenna gone, I don't think they'll kill off the only guardian Elena and Jeremy have.

Which leaves me totally perplexed. I'm thinking now that Pearl and Harper are gone (this show loves killing off favourites!), Anna is a goner, too. But I can't figure out who else might go with her.
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 03:10 am (UTC) (Link)
I don't want them to kill off any of the regulars!! And I don't even see how they can, all of them still have stories to tell. Elena can't lose another family member, that would be too much to bear, so I think Jeremy and Jenna are safe. Plus, like you said, they can't make her an orphan again. Bonnie's the only witch, she has to stay, and Tyler has his whole werewolf story that hasn't even been touched on yet.

I guess maybe Matt or Caroline could go. Maybe Matt, in a doomed family kind of way? But he's Elena's BFF, so IDK. Not Caroline, I LOVE her! If I lose Caroline and Tess, I don't know what I'll do. Then they'll probably kill off Bobby on SPN, too. I hate this!

And I don't care about the older person, as long as it's not Damon or Alaric. :) I want Anna to go, I'm afraid she'll turn Jeremy, but the young/not a regular combo seems to make her safe. Her character is really old, does that count? ;)
starry_dawn From: starry_dawn Date: May 5th, 2010 03:26 am (UTC) (Link)
Hee, remember when you hated Caroline in the first few episodes? She's grown so much! <3 I don't think I can bear to see her go either. I love Matt, too, but between him and Caroline? I'd rather they kill him off. And Tess! No, Cassidy is the only good thing that has happened to this show in years! She can't go! Yikes, these death spoilers are really making me jittery. Damn you, writers! We can have finales without people dying, you know!

I think they pretty much confirmed that Alaric will be back for S2, so no worries there. :D I'm 90% sure at this point Anna is a goner, even though I'm not sure how it fits in to the whole young/old regular/guest star thing. The spoiler mentioned specifically that a young and an old ACTOR would be off the show, so I don't think the age of the character matters. ;)

Just for reference:

Callie in Baltimore: How about some hints on the OMG moments in the season finale of The Vampire Diaries? Are they really OMG?

I can tell you that the biggest of them all is more OMFG, and it's a double death. One a younger actor. One an older actor. Both will be off the show for good.

And the one about the series regulars, although I'm not sure about the authenticity of the spoiler:

We're gonna narrow down the major season finale death for you

An insider has confirmed to us that:

*The death is a series regular. (Well..at least one death.. there may be others plus non series regular deaths)

And this is what makes me think Anna's going to go:

Penny in Tuscon, Ariz.: I love that Jeremy's not in the dark on The Vampire Diaries anymore. What's ahead for him?

Jeremy and vampire Anna will find their way back to each other, even though she bailed when she learned about the whole Vicki situation. Sadly for J, his relationship with this little lady doesn't end up much better than the latter.

AAAARGH!

I couldn't stand Caroline in the pilot! LOL! I remember you liked her lots right from the beginning. I adore her now!

Thanks for sharing those spoilers. Now I don't know what to think. Oh, well, we'll know soon enough! *frets*

I do like the wet Zod. Sick of hearing about the "significant" Clark and Lois moment. Find some other words at least!
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 02:27 am (UTC) (Link)
Wet Zod does look good. And he looks like he's having fun!

I'm just glad all the waiting and worrying will be over next Friday. I'm so sick of all the teases and cryptic clues, especially when they turn out to be big fat lies (accountable? consequences?). If they don't write and promote S10 as the last, and make it look really kick-ass, I seriously wonder who will even come back in the fall. It seems like most of my flist is really frustrated with the show right now.
legendsinlove From: legendsinlove Date: May 5th, 2010 02:57 am (UTC) (Link)
Ok, so I won't post about Smallville in my own journal but I'll go on ahead and talk about it in other journals. Hee.

I swear, the more they talk about the finale the less interested in it I become. I think it's because they just keep repeating themselves.

And so I'm always wrong with my Smallville spec (always) but I'm just gonna say Clark and Lois break up. It's the only break up that really makes sense for the Ausiello asterisk thingie. But what about this twist? They break up when Lois confronts Clark about the Book of Rao but then they meet up at the end and....we have a season 2 L&C ender. Clark asks Lois to give it another shot and she's all "Who's asking? Clark or the Blur?"

I am excited about the Clark/Zod fight being in the rain. Because a wet Clark makes me happy. :D
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 03:42 am (UTC) (Link)
I'm glad you're talking Smallville here, it means I get to see you. :)

It's EPIC and ICONIC and HUGE. How can it possibly live up to the hype? I don't know how they're going to fit everything in. We have 42 minutes, six series regulars, three members of the JLA, two members of the JSA, a whole host of Kandorians, a death, a mysterious package, the Book of Rao, a big Clois moment, a huge Clark leap forward, Clark seeing his destiny, a peek of the glasses, a hint of Darkseid, and I can't remember what else. Crazy!

I have felt like we were heading for a breakup ever since Escape, when it became obvious that both Clark and Lois were ready for sex, and equally obvious that the show wasn't going to let that happen. The stalling is already beyond ridiculous, so a breakup has to be imminent. Your scenario sounds wonderful, but I don't think the show is ready to go there yet. :(

Wet Clark is always good. :D

Thank you for the scans. :)

"End of one of our favs"? I'm baffled they'd phrase it like this if it's Zod or Tess (as much as I love her).
I feel the need to cling protectively to Martian Manhunter.
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 04:09 pm (UTC) (Link)
When Michael Ausiello first revealed that someone would die HERE, he listed the possibilities as Chloe, Lana, Perry, Martha, Oliver, Tess, and Zod. Lana was a joke, I can't believe they're going to kill off Perry or Martha, we have confirmation that they're in negotiations with AM, so it's not Chloe, and we've also had vague spoilers in reference to Chloe and Oliver together in S10. Besides, they wouldn't kill Chloe's LI two years in a row, and Kelly Souders said Chloe was going to "end on the winning team in love for the first time," so I think (hope) Ollie's safe.

That leaves Tess and Zod. I don't think anyone would describe Zod as a favorite, and killing the big bad seems too obvious to me. A lot of people do like Tess, and a ton love Cassidy Freeman. Plus Cassidy is actively pursuing other work, tweeting about auditions, which she didn't do last summer. I think it has to be her. :(

Oh my! Wet!Tommy...in a leather jacket?! *drools*

That pic of Dean...he looks like he's using some kind of Sam-like mojo there!!!

Nothing better happen to the Impala or I am personally gonna hunt Kripke down & hurt him...badly.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying tVD. I wasn't sure if I would, but it completely sucked (heh heh) me in.
tariel22 From: tariel22 Date: May 5th, 2010 09:52 pm (UTC) (Link)
Wet!Tommy is extra hot when he's manhandling the big bad. Yum. The jacket isn't leather, actually, the costume designer said they needed to make it lightweight so he could move in it.

I thought the same thing about Dean! I can't even let myself think about what "beloved character" we're going to lose in the finale. The ones they haven't killed already make a very short list! And if they hurt the Impala, I have a feeling you'll have to get behind Dean to hunt Kripke down. :)

I was all fired up to hate TVD when it first came on, after it stole Smallville's time slot and all, but the pilot totally grabbed me, and it gets better every week. Plus they keep adding more hot guys to the cast! Matt Davis? David Anders? Yes, please!

If you really do, don't tell me! :) And I like your icon! LOL!

The chemistry between all three of the main characters is so compelling (hee!). I love watching all their interactions with each other.

I'm always happy to share! I usually get my Entertainment Weekly later than everyone else, but I'll be posting a scan of Ausiello's article when I do. :)
